Catalogue de l'exposition présentée au ZKM en 2005-2006, "Light Art From Artificial Light" retrace la présence de la lumière dans l'art sous ses facettes les plus diverses, des dessins de K. Malevitch pour l'opéra "La Victoire sur le Soleil" aux néons des sculptures de Dan Flavin en passant par les flicker-films de Paul Sharits. Au total environ 400 œuvres furent présentées lors de cette exposition, qui sont documentées dans ce catalogue richement illustré, tout en couleurs.
